Fix your game or at least pretend you care.
I’m sure they are working on it. They’ve stated many many times across many subforums that they are working on a fix. What do you think they’re doing, not doing their jobs and laughing as players struggle with the problems?
It’s not like you ranting here is going to make them work faster or anything. Patience!
IMO the bizdev people at Anet are looking to monetise (read: extort) as much money as possible from players and that means lots of tedious grind and pay-to-win, because that’s what works in Korea. Hence the “NGE” expansion of last month.
Get used to it.
It makes me miss grinding heroics. I hated heroics.

See, the thing is. They are familiar with making dungeons, they have if memory serves me right, 8. Therefore this is simple and pure incompetence. All 8 of those allow you to re-enter the instance if you go out. I understand them not wanting players to repair between fractals (Which is kitten as hell) but just for that they are willing to have such a broken mechanic linger around? Incompetence, that’s all it is.
Also, patience is a week, two weeks. But now a month and still ongoing?
It was their decision to implement an instance that they perfectly well knew was going to kill off most of the other PVE content. If not, then again for the third time “incompetence”. A team of game developers with a history in GW1 are not (or should not) be stupid enough to not know that. So knowing that, they should not allow such incredibly annoying bugs to exist.

Now I have no idea what their software architecture is like, and I cannot judge at all their actual competence.
But I’d like to point out the fractals have a slightly different set-up, in which a party enters an instanced lobby, then from that lobby enters instanced dungeons. My guess is that this is the main cause of this problem.
Also, GW2 uses a completely different engine than GW1. Meaning just because they are experienced at making GW1 run smoothly doesn’t necessarily mean the expertise carries over 100%.
In the end though, none of us can really fathom the complexity of the game software (unless you work for the company, of course). None of us have really have the ability to look from the outside and accurately say, “this looks like a simple fix! It should only take a week to fix it.”
Again, this goes back to an assumption you are seemingly making. Are you thinking that these full-time, paid, professionals are simply not doing their jobs? If there’s one thing I’m 100% confident in saying, it is that I’m sure the Anet employees are working their butts off fixing and improving this game. And I doubt that this post is going to somehow motivate them to magically produce results faster.
A month? Are you from the future?
It’s been 3 weeks… yes it should be fixed, but I’m pretty sure the problem is not being ignored.
Hey they released that interview thing recently.
If that doesn’t constitute pretending to care I don’t know what does.
