Just check Style Guide collection…you receive an accessory…wich you can get from other places with less gold, less time, less and is not that even cool because you cant get the full prefix out there

Why on doggie krait that make sense in who ever decided the collection reward

And there is so many activities or other stuff which rewards are doggie, is that hard to just improve stuff, it wont take you hundred hours

Atleast you could make the whole freaking items which can select stats to be able to select all the prefix combinations…but no, not even that

this is so Doggie, i feel like back then when dungeons used to give only greens and 60 tokens per run or when tequatl used to give a chest full of greens or…there is so many examples

You can use these accessories to put the aruras in such as the Poly Luminescent, the Queen Bee or the new Phospholuminecent. Those are only able to be put in exotics and unlike the other exotics they are account bound, even after being equipped so you can switch the auras from char to char. In addition you can salvage them to get the aura back to sell it if you no longer want it.

Speaking seriously though, don’t forget the achievement points and the very act of collecting should be rewards in itself. Not to say the rewards couldn’t be more creative, but eventually they do run out of shinies to give out (specially concerning accessories: this is fashion wars and those do not show up, so apart from their description…they are basically indistiguishable and therefore equally desirable/undesirable).

Freaking 3 achievement points is what it gives

Doing that collection cost you like 150 gold for receive an item which can be obtained with less gold, less time, less all

Yes I read your post. My answer was that they have a purpose and a value to people who get a cosmetic aura. That may not be a useful thing to you it’s a useful thing to everyone who buys and uses these auras.

I completed this collection simply because I’d already made There With Yakkington: A Traveler’s Tale (it counts towards the collection as it shares a skin with Koss on Koss) and at the time the main way to get accessories was through laurels. Perhaps it’s outdated now, with so many options for obtaining ascended accessories, but I always thought collections were simply for people who liked collecting. None of them have great points or rewards to balance the price of getting them.

The reward of this collection is an ascended accessory, you wouldn’t be able to put an aura on it
