Any news on this armor skin I mean it has been over 2 months now. An ETA, something?

I bought it used the headpiece then heard about this so I didn’t use the rest. If we don’t like the new skin I’ve been told we would have contact customer support and have to delete the skin to get the refund. If that’s the case are we going to get free transmutation splitters if we used it? If not do I have to delete the full set of armor (absurd)? Or would I just get my 800 gems back?

I mean give us an update I don’t want to wait a year to find out its just been swept under the rug.

I understand that but I just want to know how the refund process would work because I’d like to use it how it is now but I don’t want to have to trash my ascended armor with runes of traveler or spend the gems/gold to get transmutation splitters to get gems back if I don’t like the new one. Also how long is it going to take for them to make the new one?

I think those are very legitimate concerns and questions, I hope you get an answer.

I have the same questions. I’ve made ascended armor, but I’m hesitant to transmute it to flamekissed because I have a feeling Anet won’t provide us with splitters to get the original armor back. My flamekissed replaced some tier 3 cultural pieces, which I would like to have back at no additional charge if I don’t like the new flamekissed design.

It would seem like a marketing scam if they don’t give us the splitters, but you never know and that’s why I would appreciate it if someone could give use some facts.

Don’t worry you won’t cause its too hard for them to solve that problem.

Well at least now I guess we know not to use it.

I’m extremely worried about this as i used the skin soon as i bought it and b4 all the drama ensued relating to it.
Personally, I think they should just leave those for ppl who bought that skin and let them keep it and be done with it. Then design a new set, something that would be just as nice for the rest. It would allow for a bit of variety too.

My Ele who used the armor skin is a human so it fits her well and doesn’t really break the lore. But I do find it a bit annoying when I see Norns with it. It just doesn’t fit the lore and reminds me of the drama surrounding it.

Ok – but to be fair, design the asuran/charr/norn/sylvari light t3 cultural with particle effects and put it in the gemstore…

Not high on the priority list, I guess.

One guy to ruin it all… And I don’t think it should take 3 months to change 1 skin, only the female human t3 is identical change that and let people (like me) buy it to use on my male human char.

I got the armor as well and I would like to know what will happen with it, as I bought gems for it.
