What exactly do we have to do so that the Flax nodes respawn? I Waypointed back and it worked at first. I also tried going to character select and that worked too, but now that I tried to do it again, the nodes aren’t respawning. Tried WPing back as well, but nothing.

What exactly are the steps, here?

This. Each character can gather the farm once per day.

BUT there is a bug in-game currently where if you WP away from a previously gathered node/node farm and return, for a few seconds the nodes will appear as refreshed for a few seconds before disappearing again.

Sometimes this can net you another whole gathering strike on jus one of the flax plants.

It’s certainly not worth trying to trigger the bug (aka exploiting it) simply because the pay-off isn’t very large. If you want to farm more flax, I’d just recommend running around and gathering. There is also another flax farm in Tangled Depths, but depends on an event chain (apparently) to be able to access it, and is also difficult to access anyway and guarded by lots of mobs.

But that doesn’t make sense, cause I gathered them all, then teleported to a waypoint, came back and they had respawned. I then went to character select, came back, and boom, they respawned as well. It was only when I tried it the third time that they didn’t respawn and have yet to do so.

But kitten , if they only reset each day, then that’s a kittening kitten move on ANet’s part. It’s already hard to make money, and they have the nerve to limit our alternatives to farming? kittening ridiculous, really. It’s as a wise poster once said; the Gem Store is their new economy meta. Only way to get gold fast is to use currency exchange it seems. Getting Ascended armor pieces to salvage for Balls of Dark Energy is going to take forever…

Like I said, there’s a bug.

Trust me, I’ve been gathering that farm a lot. What you’re experiencing is a bug, and it’s not meant to happen. Only count on the nodes refreshing once a day.
