this huge fan u see in fractals with the dredge, it casts a shadow on the floor and it blinks so much it hurts my eyes. i dono if any 1 has that or is this just me?

That particular one I’ve never noticed (now I might, gee thanks ) but it’s not just you. I have a tremendous issue with … not exactly flicker. Swish? Spin? The twitching of charr and drake tails, the flicker of mini wasp wings, the flap of fire elemental wings, any effects with whirling orbs, if I have to see any of that for a long time (eg sitting still for an RP session, or at the bank), I get sick to my stomach. RL ceiling fans do that to me as well, to my husband’s dismay since he wants the breeze they offer and I simply refuse to have one in the bedroom.

I think my eyes jitter back and forth tracking the motion and then I get motion sickness.

that’l be the light/shadows not rendering quick enough or lacks the frame rates to keep up with said input shadows from the fan spinning? if that is the case ,

1 . you ether need to test/clean check or update your graphics drivers.
2. reinstall gw2 or repair if it is not a graphical problem.

it shouldn’t flicker with a working or upto date graphics card , though running on high graphics and low frames can cause the monitor to drop / cause flickering that maybe more noticable in different areas.
