The launching and racing were both disabled last time I did diessa

I have not been able to try that anyway, When he asks “care to make a wager?” it just automatically pops up “content temporarily disabled” for me.

Nice to know what the “disabled content” is, its been that way for me ever since start.

I do wonder why any one would gamble with a guy who launches cows for a living what do you win Hamburger?

Did this event yesterday to get to the vista. Won a Flying Cow Token. We were never able to trigger the betting again after doing the event multiple times. So I would say it is still operational but also not…… Anyone know if the token is good for anything else besides selling?

I also lost 1.5 gold so I have to blame Anet for putting this in the game especially in a low area like that. I was just clicking trying to get to the way point and not reading. My bad for not reading, but then it’s the first time I ran into anything like this. Anet just wants us to buy gems so they are sucking our gold from us anyway they can.

Oh well easy come and really easy to go.

I noticed on my norn alt that the Cattlepult bet was re-enabled. I am debating trying to see if there’s a pattern and betting on it.

This was available for a short time at launch.. Yeah, I lost my 50 silver because I accidently clicked it. I qq’d quite a bit. (Lost of course)
I tried agian weeks ago, lost agian. Never gonna try agian unless I will have too much money in the future.

For about an hour a month back I thought I could strike it rich since option 1 won 6 times in a row when I first tried it. Needless to say the streak didn’t continue. However, it’s convinced me that the rng in this game is quite streaky (since 1/3^6 = .1% chance of occurring given 6 tries if the rng was genuinely random).

I sold the coin.
if the coin was worth 1.5g, I might of bet more (1/3 chance of winning * 3 times your bet = 100% return, meaning on average you break even). but since you only win 2 times your bet, on average you will lose 33% of your money (66.6% return). even casino blackjack can be up to 97% return if you know when to hit.

Diessa Plateau. Look for this lone tower standing south of Grendich and then look for a big siege machine southeast of it.

I did this last night! I was trying to find a way to the vista…
I lost the first time, and won the second go. I bet both times 50 silver option. I won a token that’s worth 1g.
The option to wager came after the DE. We finished the event with about 4 cows left.

Launched myself to the vista and I was happy. Token still sits in my inventory.

Yeah first week of the game I lost almost all my money right before I needed the 1g for my trait book because I thought I needed to do it to get up to the vista on the tower and I breezed through the dialog….I was devastated when I lost my money…

They need to put a confirmation on this, I mistakenly gambled my money too, when I realized what happened, I was mad, however I won a mad cow token and made a nice profit.

Fun little game – I played once and won but 50s is a little high in a starter zone – 5-10s would be a more reasonable amount.

The event will only trigger if the preceding event is completed with X cows alive.

X Cows will the be fired which you can wager upon before the Canon can be used to get to the tower

I guessed two right, made a little dough. Harpies seem to be the best bet.

I think it’s there to teach people to read and not mindlessly click

one of my guildies got 5g from it, but gambling is not my forte (never win on mystic forge but at least you get something back unlike money betting.)
