I’m thinking of making an alt. What would be the best food for 1-80 or 20-80? And before anyone gets “clever” I’m speaking in-game consumables NOT nutrition for you squishy flesh bags.

I tend to go for “mushroom” items because they boost experience to 15% rather than +10 flat points. This is particularly true past level 20.

Because we can’t be angry about both?

Here’s a great little searchable database that lets you look up food items by level and buffs. Has drop down lists for the searches, just pick the buffs you want and it will give you a list of foods that have it.

You necro’d a 2 year old post just to post that the site is down?

Personally, if you’ve got HoT and haven’t finished up the masteries, the best way to level is through tomes. That way experience from map exploration and personal story go towards your masteries rather than leveling up.

Try this wiki site as a substitute. Shows levels and buffs, and clicking on the food tells you where you can get it, if you can craft it and the price on the trading post.
