The footprints of Sunrise looks like a clear blue sky in the afternoon, not like the sky at sunrise. I would love a change to the footprints to keep to the theme of sunrise.

Its probably due to the angle. If you looked at Sunrise from ground up, it does look like its footprints.

No matter how u look at the footprints, it’s always a bright blue color. If the footprints can get other color of sunrise at different angle, it would fit. But as of now, it’s always a bright blue sky. And even looking at sunrise from ground up, it’s a darker grayish blue, nothing close to the clear blue sky of the footprints.

You do realize that Sunrise doesn’t actually have “painted skin” on the effects, but instead the effects interact with a back layer of what’s normally a skybox of the sky, right? In this case it’s a back layer skybox of the sunrise/day sky, just like the oppose weapon is accessing the night skybox of the sunset/night sky. Because of this, it reaches a certain angle, which the ground of such is always the blue angle (this is to keep the sword at the angle that blends blue and yellow from the actual sun).

To change about the footprints would change the swords look, because they’d have to alter the angle of which the weapon’s effects interact with the skybox. It would make the sword look weird. To do any other changes other than a simple angle tweak would take far too many resources and would negatively effect the overall look of the weapon.

In other words: I don’t foresee it happening any time soon.
