Are all items such as the tri-colour chest keys, the keys and pieces from the Origins of Madness, the heirlooms and Blade shards etc all useless now? It would help to know what I can clear from my bank

Yes, yes, yes, no…

Blade shards are a permanent drop, so they aren’t useless. If you have enough pieces to make keys, the chests are still in Scarlet’s Lair. Tri-color keys are probably useless now, but one never knows. Heirlooms are probably not viable, but …really… who knows what the new merchant might want to exchange for goodies?

Thanks Inculpatos, Magnus. It seems like the answer is it all depends. This is crap way for Anet to keep us informed as I didn’t know Scarlets cave was still there. I actually haven’t been to it yet. I would hate to throw any stuff away and then for it to be useful again which by the way I have already done. I need to see if there is a resource that keeps us informed of these particular items such as Dulfy
