Seems that 80-90% of the medium armours are trenchcoats which just does not fit my thief, the only decent one i have seen is the Lev 3 Cultural armour but thats way out of my budget :-(

Please, new patch some new thief looking armour skins :-)

As an engineer, I’m aways thinking how the medium armor looks too thiefy. Lots of them have knives and stuff hanging all over the place.

Agreed. Hope they add in some good looking ninja-like costumes or Metal-gear-solid power suits. Look at the WoW rogue armor sets, no trenchcoats there. Way too many trench coats now.

Well as Engineer who also must wear Medium armor, I concur. Everything I see are trench coats, I have been wearing trench coats since level 1, and now I’m level 50, where is the variety?

@gwawer I actually find myself looking at the rogue armors in WoW and thinking that almost none of it looks good, or rogue-like, unless you go back to gear for level 60 or below. (a few pretty nice items were adding to low level dungeon’s/quests with Cataclysm)

As for GW2, I’d just like more non trench coat options. Especially stuff that would look good on my Charr Thief.

as much as i like the trench coat outfit, i do agree that it feels incredibly over done in this game

it’s fine if there’s a nice variety of armors that don’t have that look, but right now, just about every piece of medium armor has that trench coat look, and the ones that don’t have it are hard to find

This is actually a VERY excellent idea!

A military-inspired spy suit would fit both the gadget-slinging Engineer and the stealthy Thief.
