Okay, so moa racing is popular in being a HUGE money sink that’s draining the wallets of Tyrians everywhere….well, okay so it’s just in Lion’s Arch. But that’s about to change…

In Diessa Platteau we’re going to see Cattle Racing. Not a joke! It’s already partially set up, but currently disabled for some reason or another.

The question on my mind is: Will there be any other additional PERMANENT mini-games to be added to the game that differs from betting/costing players in-game currency?

Currently there’s cow-cannon betting, moa racing betting, and now soon-to-be-in is cow racing betting. The only non-betting games of fun are Costume Brawl, Keg Brawl, and rock’um robots (in Metrica Provence, if you even count that one).

Keg brawl is a minigame that doesn’t involve betting. So far we have two permanent minigames in the game and half of them involve betting.

I think that is too few data points for you to even ask the question. And let’s not belabor the point that the bar room brawl achievements are already listed in the achievements panel, so even if they did eventually do cow racing (and there’s no guarantee they will) they’ll likely also do bar room brawl at some point, which would make the division of minigames 50% again, and four games is STILL to few datapoints to draw long term confusion from.

You sure that place is for cow racing instead of just the dynamic event that’s already there?
