Guild Wars 2

Just a few minutes ago i was trait-hunting in Dredgehaunt Cliffs, specifically the mini dungeon Forsaken Fortune. This event is relatively unknown to most players, so I activated it and shout out to the map so those wants to explore/get their traits can join me. When we reached the part with levers, I went around and activated all the levers, but that means I am quite a way behind from the door to the last boss, Fleshgrazer. I specifically told the group to wait for me because I needed to kill the boss for my trait. You know what everyone did? They all went and killed the boss without me. And now the boss doesn’t respawn, and I can’t reactivate the event. And then everyone just left without a single word, not even a word of apology or anything.

I’ve been playing this game for nearly 2 years, and this is the first time I am very disappointed in the attitudes of some players. Like what the hell man, can’t you wait 1 minute for me to reach the boss? It’s not easy since the whole place is pitch black with falling rocks.

Also anet, please redesign the trait unlock system. I am NOT enjoying the new system.

My husband and I did this…for something…a while back. I don’t even recall what the heck for at this point.

I can understand your gripe with the players, but that’s only loosely tied to the traits. You didn’t have to call out that you were doing this, as it is solo-able. It’s not the traits fault players are a bunch of kitten, but I can understand needing/desiring to do something and then not being able to because people suck.

It is called megaserver where you play with random, intelligent life forms. Probably, you won’t see any of them again in future.
