Fortnight Content or Seasonly Content
I’ve said it before and I will say it again now. I don’t personally care for any of the content they have released, yet it does not affect my game at all if I choose not too participate in it. So therefore it would be very self centered and petty for me to ask for it to be removed.
However it would be nice if we could see some more long term plans and bigger content design to go along with bi-weekly updates they are doing currently.
Considering anet has 4 separate living world teams now, I don’t think the quality will suffer at all. If anything, the more recent living world events have been increasing in quality, so I say keep bringing that content frequently.
Plus seriously…even if they have a massive patch every few months or so, people will find a way to eat it up quick in a few days.
they should do the logical thing and put the lw content as dynamic events in the open world like molten alliance
Ive not been active on Gw2 since wintersday because I had completed all the content, I came back like 2 days ago to be greeted by some queen jubilee living story update that I had no information about and I felt like I was missing out on a lot of the living story… this is the reason small temporary updates are not good for an MMO. Imagine If a massive update was waiting for me to explore after those 8 months of inactivity, long story short, living world temporary content is NOT a good idea.
when I first started playing GW2 my most fond memories were going through Ascalon on my charr with my friend, I would like to see these zones updated permanently with new currencies (renown) specific to these zones that can buy me new skins and gear and pre legendary materials. its almost as if they don’t want us to go back to these zones. its really sad to see my most anticipated MMO go down hill after level 80
