Guild Wars 2

I used to get the agony particle effect which looked like purple spikes coming of of my character. All of a sudden I never see the effect anymore even though I get hit with agony. Any way I might have changed something in the graphics settings?

I play with everything turned on, and haven’t seen it lately, so they may be reworking it or more likely it’s bugged.

So do i which is why I’m confused
