So you can probably deduce by now, with your awesome-esque veteran game player and forum member brain processing power, that I’m doing Ad Infinitum I. I’m almost finished, and I’ve come to a point where I need to amass Fractal Relics & Pristine Fractal Relics. I also need a pesky Ascended armor/weapon piece so I can salvage it for those ever elusive Balls of Dark Energy, and so forth. So here are a couple of questions.

1. I’m guessing higher scale Fractals offer larger amounts of Fractal Relics, correct? What’s the biggest amount (on average) one can get? I’m also just starting out on the difficulty level. What’s my best route from here?

2. What about Pristine Fractal Relics? Shouldn’t we get one after every Fractal? What about several Fractals? I did a bunch today, and I think I only got one. What exactly are the requirements in order to be awarded one?

3. Can one get Ascended Chests on all the difficulty scales and personal fractal levels? How rare are they? Again, what are the requirements, here?

4. Wasn’t the “Personal Fractal Level” the “Personal Reward Level”? Aren’t we supposed to be able to change that when we’re choosing the difficulty level we want? I’m always at the personal Fractal Level of 7. Is that changeable? If I’m doing, say, scale 8, which I’ve never done, will my personal fractal level be 7 or 8 when I do it? This is rather confusing. The Wiki is confusing, too.

^ Horrible drop rates from what people say. Too bad you weren’t one of the one’s who farmed fractals Pre-HoT… Missed out on alot =/.
Don’t count on higher-lvl fractals giving you “More relics”. In the time it takes to finish lets say.. an 80+ or so, you could’ve spammed a couple lvl 2 swamp’s and gotten more relics, if not double/triple in the same amount of time. Pristine relics, you can still get 5 Daily if you do all the dailies.

^Shadow speaks the truth. High lvls has high lvl pains, such as bosses having way too many hitpoints, and if you’re doing it for relics, spamming ez ones like swamp or molten twins over and over is MUCH better than doing 1 high lvl fractal.

And if you do HoT storylines and achievements, you get ascended amulets + accessories. Those can be salvaged

So the Fractal difficulty scale of 2? But if I do easier Fractals, won’t I get very little relics? Say I were to spam lvl 2 for a whole hour. How much Fractal Relics would that get me? Just an estimate.
