Anyone else think that fotm gives very few rewards. First off fractal skins are just rng so even if you do a million fractals you may never get the skin you want. I mean why not just do the same thing with dungeons where the fractal relics you get can get you the weapon skins. Secondly the amount of gold + loot you get for doing a fractal is ridiculously low. It can take hours to do high level fractals in pug groups and the reward really doesnt match doing something else for an hour. And your pristine fractal relic is time gated so that reward is also very limited. Honestly i dont see why they didnt do the same thing with with dungeons where at the end of each fractal you get a reward of relics and gold based on the length and difficulty of each fractal.

Lack of response just shows how popular fotm is.

People scramble and rush to open black lions chest. Some say they have used more than 150 keys before getting their first fused ticket. End result = Fused weapons can now be sold on the Trading Post and are now going to be back on the Auction House, redeemable for 7 Black Lion Claims Ticket.

Like the Fused Weapon skins example, not supposed to return, but they will soon be available also via Black Lion Claims Ticket. I think you need 3 of these.

Supposedly only available last Wintersday via the Gem Store, these are also now back for sale.

Time Limited Example – Unlimited Molten Picks, Sickles and Logging Axe

Supposed to be time limited sale and never to return. Whoops, here they are. Back for more. You know this contender by now….

Given ANET’s outstanding record, I’d believe we should be able to sell these soon on the auction house too.

Limited time doesn’t necessary mean never to return. The sales were never advertised as one time only. They were advertised as limited time. That means what it says. They stop selling it at a certain point. They certainly never said it would never be offered again.

And even if they had, the number of people requesting it on the forums means they’re listening to their player base.

Also, Fractal skins will never be sold on the trading post, I think, because they’re there to prove you’ve done the dungeon…much like dungeon tokens aren’t sold on the trading post.

i don’t think that will happen.

all the other skins you mentioned were gemstore-skins → good for making money.

There is absolutely no reason to change fractal-skins from accountbound to sellable

Kind of agree with you , i think that a chance at the skins and rings + working toward the fractal capacitor is a good start but they definitely need a boost to the drops, but also again the champion chests were a step forward also.

+1 Something new in fractal rewards or a boost in gold/drops

In any case, those time limited weapon skins have now all turned from account bound, to being sellable on the auction house.

The fact that these weapon skins returned means ANet is listening to their player base. That’s wonderful. I hope they are listening to the numerous request from players to find an alternative way to obtain the fractal weapon skins that they want.

I’ve got like 2 hammers, 1 scepter, 1 rifle, 1 shield. What I really want was actually the torch and the sword. I understand where you are coming from. Dungeon tokens aren’t sold, but they can be used to exchange for skins. Fractal weapons on the other hand, can’t.

well i have 1,5 bank slots to empty u.u and need gold ._.

That would be a nice reward for fotm runners that got 0 rewards for a year :/

Yesterday i completed a 48 with less than 1 G reward.

Getting 2-3 champion chests doesn t make any difference.

Mostly because the best fotm RNG income was cores and T6 that since last Patches just became cheap.

An AC p1 run Worth 2 times a usual fotm 48 run……

I’d just like anet give something to people who played fractal till now despite the awful drops.

Yes i got many skins….but also i m quite poor <.<
