I notice that those players who dress elaborately and dress well are those who play fractals.
Is it because…its easier to get rich playing fractals?

Well ‘looking better’ is subjective. What one person things looks good another person might think is a complete mess.

But I think it’s safe to assume people who play Fractals are likely to have been playing for a while and completed a lot of other content, so they’ve probably got a wide range of skins to choose from and know how to find and obtain whichever ones they want, which makes putting together a cohesive look easier.

I’m wondering how one determines the elaborately, well-dressed players partake of Fractals.

Does a survey?
Hangs out in the Fractal Lobby, so has a select-only playerbase to observe?
Considers players with the Fractal Backpack well-dressed?
What?

Just curious.

My characters look great and I’m not a fractal guy.

Imo not until they get legendary armor they don’t

If by elaborate you mean gaudy, then no they dont.

The correlation isn’t fully causal. I will say that spamming daily fractals gives you funds to make your characters look a lot better, but that is certainly not the only way make said funds.

My most recent character I made, after 4 years of playing and hundreds of gold in the bank and many fractals under my belt, uses the default starter sword skin, lol. So yeah, it’s totally subjective.

I started T4 fractals recently and just doing dailies alone which takes around an hour to complete gives me around 20 odd gold on a good day 0_0

At this rate I could definitely afford the skins that cost a few hundreds of gold.

Oh right, if by dressing elaborately and well you mean using the most expensive skins then yes, you probably are more likely to see those on people who farm profitable areas.

But that could just as easily be raids or Silverwastes or Auric Basin or whatever else people are farming, not specifically Fractals.
