What wrong with those fractals :o
Did like 40 daily runs now, lvl 11-21-31
from those 40 runs i got like 35 freaking rings.
RINGS! wtf, 35 rings out of 40 runs. Isnt RNG so freaking lame or is the drop rate of other stuff to low?

Starting to hate this..

the rings are common, everything else is far too low. I wouldnt mind if we could salvage the rings for vials of mist essence or globs or something….. those really really dont drop enough.

its low ascended armor and weapons are 100g to get crafting and make so there drop rates are low 1% or less and acceded weapons probably drop around 10% of the time. they need to let us salvage ascended items though. so they stop filling up the bank

Are you talking about the ascended rings in the end reward or just drops from creatures?

If you are talking about ascended rings, they are common drops for end reward. The only other drop are ascended boxes and they are very rare.

end rewards, i love to do fractals but i really want something esle then rings…

Let me put it this way.

You’re thinking that instead of that ring you’d get a fractal weapon skin or an ascended box. That’s not the case.

In reality, the way it works, you either get a ring or you don’t get anything. It’s 4.95s you haven’t had before. I’ve seen people on several occasions get a fractal skin / ascended box and a ring in one shot, which makes it quite possible rings and skins/boxes have separate drop rates.

Now let’s be honest, would you rather have them decrease the rings drop rate, so you wouldn’t get anything at all?

It reminds me of Karma “issue” back in the day. People complaining that they have too much of it and don’t know what to do with it. Instead of just giving us a decent Karma sink, they nerfed the karma acquisition by 90% and then give us karma sink.

Only thing from complaining you getting something too much of will eventually end up with nerfing it to the point where you start complaining it’s not enough.

In the end you’re 4.95 silvers richer. And lower player have an ability of getting a ring they want easier.

Well, OP, you haven’t broken my record of three straight weeks getting absolute nothing from the daily chest. Nowadays, even I think getting a ring is receiving a blessing. Or at least, Anet has made me believe that.

Yeah, that would be sweet. It’s just Anet goes into extremes whenever someone complains that they got too much of something. The only exception is Bloodstone Dust, but I wonder if they’ll ever do something with that.

Salvaging Rings though would be very much appreciated.

Yeah, that’s been brought up many times in the past, including the latest CDI. Let’s hope they got the “right” message and do something about it in the near future. I myself set a limit for myself to one bank tab full of Ascended Rings (Infused only) and I’ve been selling them ever since, because that limit was fulfilled months before Fractured Release.

All we can do now is wait, since any kind of feedback directed towards fractals been collecting dust ever since the last CDI ended.
