So I’m just did level 29 fractals and it bumped me up to personal level 30. However I got no karma for that. However I just did Fractals 19 and got karma as a reward. Keep in mind that I’m these for my dailies to get relics and karma for shards. Any idea why I sometimes get karma and sometimes I don’t?

You get karma when doing a lower level than your personal reward. It’s an incentive for ‘helping out’.

Also, the amount of karma you receive depends on how much lower the fractal you ran was compared to your reward level. You’ll get less karma doing a lvl 28 fractal than you would by doing a 19 or a 10.

Also worth noting that Karma boosters don’t seem to work for this Karma gain. I was really annoyed when I loaded a Karma booster, but got the same amount when I finished the lower level Fractal
