Dont buy gems

Buy another copy of GW2 when it is on 50% sale (only 20€ then)

login everyday on that 2nd account for just ~5 seconds to get daily login reward
you get 55 laurels per month (35+20 endchest)

after 3 months you got 165 laurels which equals more gold than what you would get for 20€
20€ = 1600 gems which is roughly 165 gold
and for 1 laurel you get 3 T6 materials which is usually ~1g or more (~1.2g atm)
—> 165 laurels = ~165g (almost 200g with current prices)

so after the first 3 months it is like you got your money back and you still get gold worth 20€ just for logging in for 5 seconds each day

which is like free 55g/month
+ the other rewards that you get from daily login (crafting materials mostly)
and basically a free second account after the first 3 months

Just a little thought that i just had:
If this system had been in place since release
Everyone who did what i just described would have ~1500 extra laurels
Which would be free 4500 T6 mats ^^

And if buy gems often … you should rather spend for example 100€ just once for 5 copies of the game and then have an income of 275g/month (with current prices it would actually be more like 330g/month)

What do you think of my genius plan?

And that genius plan will fail due to inflation(since gem prices are determined by supply and demand). Especially since you posted it in the forums.

no no since you get the gold from the T6 mats that you buy with your laurels
(i wrote about gems first but that was wrong from me…
guess you read that part about gems that i wrote first … edited it all now to make it clear and easy to understand)

basically it has nothing to do with gems but just with Laurels/T6 mats and gold

same reasoning, materials prices will drop due to oversupply. You could try it but if too much people follow your example your profit will lower until it’s rendement wil be in a time range that is not acceptable.

legendary would just get cheaper for me
