Guild Wars 2

Trying to get a friend into GW2 but he doesn’t want to commit until he’s experienced the game. I saw the free trial weekend during April and so now I ask the devs or anyone who knows:

When is the next free trial weekend? Will there be any permanent trial versions of the game in the future?

Ones definitely overdue in my books. Would be nice to see some fresh faces. Maybe for the next major holiday?

They should work on a permanent free trial system, it would increase the amount of players enormously.
How about being able to create a free account and you can download the game, but you are only able to visit your hometown and your starting area with a max level of 15. Once you buy the actual game, you can enter everything.

Should be one due at some point…perhaps for the 1 year birthday?
