How frequent should players be downed??
in PvE.
in PvP.
in Dungeons.
in Personal Story.
on Bosses.
during Events.

Pros:
-Adds a feeling of survival and second wind.
-Encourages others to help get you back up.

Cons:
-Perception of being a bad player. (because you didn’t move or dodge)
-More time wasted reviving, instead of fighting.
-1 shot hits take you down. (related to perception of being bad)

During dungeon runs, there is a high frequency of players getting downed, but is this to be expected, or is it because players are not being cautious, and are unskilled? What about during Events?

So, in essence, how frequent are we supposed to be in downed state? And is it supposed to be low or high?

most if not all one shot abilities are telegraphed ahead of time, either through animation or big nasty red circles…otherwise it’s from biting off more than you can chew. Being downed for the most part is user error. REviving isn’t a bad thing, you get achievements for X number of revives plus XP. Your other Cons as I suggested, wholly intentional as far as I’m concerned.
