A friend I play with regularly had her account hacked and then subsequently banned. She hasn’t actually played for a few weeks, and we’d wondered what it meant when her location in the guild roster was Desolation (in orange letters). Has anyone had success is recovering their account from customer service if this has happened?

Yes, please help our friend out. Any info would be helpful.

It’s very possible to get her account back, just have her go to the support page. (its under services, at the top.) and ask a question. Select “hacked account” as reason and fill in the blanks. She should get her account back in no time ^_^

From what I understand is it takes at least 7 days, then maybe more for “review” and anything after Dec. something can be rolled back and restored. Shame support is so painfully slow.

I miss WoW in that respect, hacked and restored with in an hour.

I just wish support would email the account when it was suspensed because that person could have no idea that account was hacked and would help with any future incidents and the innocent people who have been taken advantage of.

Desolation is the name of the server your friend’s account is on, the reason it’s written in orange is because she is on a different server from the rest of your guild.

Do any of you guys have Google authenticator on your phones.? Look into that. Theres no way you can get hacked if they dont have you phone to access the autheticatoe in order to log in using a diff ip address
