From a very satisfied player
Mobs: lovely artwork, maybe a bit to low respawn timers, but thats probably because certain areas are less populated. (edit: i mean some mobs spawn a bit to quickly, not to slow :-))
All in all: i love this game and i hope u stay the course u’ve set so far. I would hate to see (yet another) game ruined by kids that have issues playing a game to have fun.
PLEASE do not give in to all the ppl saying there are no rewards/endgame after so little time after release… they will ruin this game for the majority of players (those that actually enjoy playing do not post on forums and are the vast majority)

Continuing the point of the thread… things that makes Guild Wars 2 awesome:
1) Jumping Puzzles. I love these.. I love the excitement and tension as I almost fall off a giant cliff, where every step made could be your “last”. The satisfaction I feel once I complete one with my friends as we all laugh at each other from falling etc.
2) Dungeons. Holy crap are these things hard.. once you actually get a strategy down (other than zerging, which makes you frustrated from deaths and repair bills) you feel immensely satisfied. Granted the groups I run with do a lot of zerging, but some bosses just don’t allow this at all (explorable modes). I have a feeling that once all the boss strategies are compiled people won’t complain as much about how difficult these are and worry more about strategy execution.
3) Armor and Weapon Skins. Gotta say, there’s a lot to love here. Some things look silly (lol those bows someone posted, the unicorn/rainbow bow) but a lot of other skins look down right badkitten (i love how they replace everything with “kitten” or “kitty”, makes the forums a little more comical to read).
4) The storyline. I haven’t completed it, but I’ve loved it so far.
The game is amazing and I can’t wait to get home to continue playing.
Fanboy threads are very amusing. If any developer really needs reaffirmation from these idiotic posts then they need therapy. I would think their satisfaction would come from fixing the complaints that their players have and striving to make a better game, not from sunshine and lollipop threads.
Well its pretty clear you are not a developer.
If you were, you would know that its a great feeling to receive praise and compliments on something you’ve been working yourkitten off for the last few years.
Instead they get entitled assgoblins like you that do nothing but kitten and moan.

Because people simply dislike being praised for their work as we all know and science proves. And I do not know if you need therapy or not, but you certainly need a phonecall with your mother teaching you about the basics of conduct when you call out people as idiots over this. Would you also be so kind as to define “fanboy”? Are you not a fan of GW2? Then why the heck do you play or post here?
Friendly reminder to please stay on topic. Thank you.
The concept artists deserve double pay, as do the people who took that art and made it into a game.
I agree with Xericor…it’s a work of art.
“A release is 7 days or less away or has just happened within the last 7 days…
These are the only two states you’ll find the world of Tyria.”
Yeah I agree with OP I really love this game and for the most part have just been playing in the starting areas of all the races lol my toon is lvl 34 and have only been playing in the starting areas so far. They are just so much fun to play and by doing this I’m allowing time for the higher lvl areas to be more populated for when I decide to spend time playing and checking them out but so far just playing the beginning areas with several different toons has been so much fun.
Hear hear! Most fun I’ve had in an MMO in ages.
“game ruined by kids that have issues playing a game to have fun.”
I love how this line is an attempt to alienate, divide and cause a rift in the community is still allowed
I too enjoy the game but for others who don’t I feel bad they dont and wish something could be done about it.
@OP Having to do 50 runs of the same dungeons in order to get a full armor set is definitely casual-friendly.
Game is fun. Thanks Arenanet team for changing things up. Love the removal of the trinity and the addition of dynamic events.
I have already posted a long appreciation thread of things I like. Just wanted to briefly add one more thing – Environment.
The world is alive. Whether it is illusion or real, it feels like the world is constantly changing, thriving. One of the few MMOs where I have stopped what I am doing just to easedrop on NPC conversation. Some have made me laugh. Some have left me in shock.
Yeah love the npc’s, several times I’ve been running through the area just trying to grind then I over hear a conversation going on that just cracks me up and reminds me to take my time and enjoy the game.
