Guild Wars 2

So we did 1 fractal, started to load next map, and game froze. It is the very first time its ever done this. Logged back on and I’m dead in front of the portal. Now I stupidly tried to enter back in thinking I could simply re-unite with my party, but it kicked me back to LA, and the rest of the party. Well that really p/o’d the party and everyone disbanded, even though the first fractal took 10 mins. I could have assumed I couldn’t do that, but I really didn’t know. What happens if someone disconnects after the 2nd fractal, or freezes like me? Should the team really get punished for that? Is there no way to join the party after a d/c? No doubt the party could have done the fractals with 1 less, but would just be a little longer. Nobody can move forward in difficulty because of mishaps like this.

Actually, IIRC, only you miss out on moving up in difficulty. The other players will progress onto the next fractal just fine. They’ll have to get someone to replace you though.

ok how about this, just did another fractal, right in the middle of it someone left, and it kicked everyone else out. Today must be a bad day to do this…

I have not encountered that scenario yet.

This happened to me last night, except we were at the bonus boss for level 2. I got stuck on the loading screen and had to reboot the game because I got an error that the game client was not responding. When I relogged I found myself in LA and couldnt get back in to the fractal. We tried several different things to get me back in but nothing worked. Everyone finally left and we tried to re-enter as a group, but we lost all of our progress and will now have to repeat level 2. . I hope this is something they can fix like they fixed the party problems for regular dungeons.

Same happened to me. Fractal joining system is really really bad. I don’t know what beta content testers doing. They didnt see this thing during tests? Difficulty system is also really bad beacuse it split people.
