I didn’t see any discussion on this yet. I assume every BL Chest has one now, regardless of whether the account has access to HoT content? So if I get a key on one of my alt-core-only accounts, these rewards are… well, not rewards. Junk?

Or is there an alt reward if the account doesn’t have HoT? Or a way to redeem them outside of the new content?

They can be sold to a vendor for 50 Silvers. So even without hot way more profitable than the ToT-Bags in last seasons BL-Chests.

Yes. Three fragments net you 1G50s…about the worth of the Exotic you are likely to receive, unless luck smiles upon you.

Also, the ‘Seasonal’ item will probably change with the upcoming Wintersday BL Chest.

50s is better than nothing, but not much incentive to open a chest for. If/when I get a key on one of those accounts, I’ll hold onto it until a better auto-reward is offered.

And key runs and map completions. (Not saying they’re a good way, just pointing out other ways than gems).

I got lucky and got the Chosen as one of my rare weapons so it’s just a bit more RNG with your RNG.
