First off i would like to start by saying that im not the kind of person to go on forums, EVER, so the fact that im here speaks volumes. The rising prices on the TP are extremely concerning to me. I play everyday for most of the day, the majority of the time i am dungeon running, doing events sch as the dragons, or trying to find another way to find decent loot to sell. I have played since day 1 and and worked hard for everything i have, yet the things that i try to work for such as legendaries or some of the cooler looking exotics are impossible for me to reach. I make at the most about 7 gold a day, yet i see youtube videos of people making that in a hour legitimately. If i try it, guess what it doesn’t work. I have only once received an exotic from a drop from anything. I feel increasingly more helpless in a game where i cant farm for anything and i cant make enough money to craft anything worthwhile at my level. I would sincerely like to know if Arenanet is working on anything, anything at all, about these worthless drops that i and many other players receive on a daily basis. I wold also love to know if anyone else gets decent drops and tell me if im just doing this wrong. I want to be able to go for large long term goals such as my legendary or even volcanus (that sword looks sick) but i cant as things are rite now. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY HELP ME!!!

Have you tried speedclearing CoF on a berzerker warrior or on a mesmer?

That is the best/fastest way to make money at the moment (in my opinion)

I have, my primary is a charr warrior, and ive tried speed clears in cof a ridiculous amount of times.

Do you only play one character? if so that is your issue.

I got hit hard with DR on my warrior, farmed CS for about 80 hours over a few weeks and was doing ok till after the first week then my drops turned to crap, changing map zones didnt help, not logging in for 48 hours didnt even help. The first week i got some good rare drops no exotics though, but that second week i got zero rares, only 2-3 greens and absolute crap for moldy bag drops as well.

Then i rolled a Thief and played only him for 2 weeks, went back to my warrior and he was back to getting good drops. Since then i play my warrior less than 2 hours a day absolute max and never more than 30 min in same map zone. And so far DR has not returned.

So IMO rolling lots of toons is a requirement to farm in this game as DR is way to punishing to people with only one character.

I have 6 characters maxed out and decked out with dungeon gear. I switch off constantly.

Only if the only reason you play GW2 is to equip your alts in ascended.

maguni if you’re making 7g a day you have nothing to complain about. Ecto prices have been going down since last patch. t6 mats are stable. What are you even trying to buy that you cant afford at 7g a day?

7g a day? I’m lucky if I make that in a week.

Yeah, I work hard to make gold and I’m lucky if I break 4g a day. Today was a great day. I made 6.

That was a typo BTW, i meant every 2 days, and that’s at my best, its usually daily 2.5 gold.
