I believe one of the main reasons power builds are overwhelmingly weak compared to Condition builds is because the amount of boon and condition applications that make power builds weak. Fumble is a condition i believe needs some rework along with protection. These 2 abilities literally render power builds useless in a pvp standpoint. The reduced endurance regeneration and the 50% chance to “fumble” or glancing hits, with added protection for 33% damage reduction. Condition builds are extremely strong because they dont require nothing but 2 stats.. Toughness and condition damage. A condition user really doesn’t even need Condition duration “Expertise” cause they can get cleared off fairly easy, and reapplied fairly quickly. I suggest changing the amount of dmg it does per second or change the damage time it does (meaning burning would burn every 2 seconds.. or every 1.5 seconds) . conditions deal damage every second so compared to power builds unless you can land every single hit; you will not be able to dish out the amount of damage a condition build requires. Power builds require , at the most 3 different stats to go into, that’s power , precision and ferocity; and often times Vitality. Toughness is not always needed especially not against condition but it helps. If Condition builds at least required another main stat so it would even out the amount of damage it does.. Then maybe we can find common ground in terms of “Balance” , which I’m SURE everyone want’s by this time.
