Most tonics, I know don’t have anything you can really do when you use them aside from running around. Earlier today I used an eagle raptor tonic and noticed an extra skill in my skillbar. Reading it, the thing said it was a screech to scare ambient creatures. Curious what it would do, I went to find a rabbit to test it on. I thought it would flee after using the skill.

Nope.

I apparently scared it to death. And then went around to continue slaughtering all little critters I ran across in that area.

Hah. Nice. The closest I have to this is one day I used a Krait tonic, and my engineer buddy chased me arounds Divinity’s Reach with his flamethrower kit equipped and flaring off everywhere. It was amusing as hell. We broke up more than one RP group with our misadventure.

I was helping a friend do the heart quest in the south of Lornar’s Pass that involved killing ettins. As I’d done it before, I checked the Karma vendor in mild curiosity, and found that they were selling an ettin tonic. I proceeded to have hilarious fun running at players doing the quest while I was in ettin form, and their reactions when being charged by an ettin they couldn’t auto-target were priceless.

I think we should be able to sell the ones that come in the black lion chests on the TP, at least give me something to do with them other than destroy them.
