Hi all,

So I have recently returned to the game after a hiatus. I have been slowly but surely consolidating my bank and organizing accordingly due to all of the changes. Last night I came across a Fused Weapon Claim Ticket in my bank and looked up where to turn this in online.

It reads; " Take this ticket to a Vigil Weapon Specialist in one of the refugee camps or to Evon Gnashblade at the Lion’s Arch trading post to select a fused weapon skin."

However, Evon apparently is too busy to trade me a skin for my ticket and none of the other vendors offer anything for trade without Black Lion Claim Tickets.

I checked the Trade Post and there are plenty of skins for sale so the skins still exist in the game. Was the ticket vendor removed entirely? And if so, why? That doesn’t seem to make much sense to me. I mean, if the currency changed, perhaps allow me to exchange it?

I could not find any patch notes relating to this either. Any input would be appreciated. I think at the time I got it from a Black Lion Chest and wasn’t all that sure which character I would use it on yet so I saved it.

Did you try with the claim ticket in your character’s inventory or without? If its in then you should get more text from the BL weapons vendors. Same for Jade weapon tickets from the Dragonbash event boxes.

The ticket is in my inventory and I spoke with all of the weapon specialists as well as Evon. None of them have any additional subtext they just go right into showing their inventory of items.

Am I missing something? I went to find refugees as well and they are all gone.

Have the claim ticket in your character’s inventory and try speaking to a Black Lion Weapons Specialist, standing by a trading post in a major city.

Hmmm. If you’ve only tried LA then try another city. If that doesn’t work (and nobody else comes with any info) then you might want to send in a support ticket.

Yeah so they all have the same options which is to purchase from the list of items or select the second option which is to trade Black Lion Ticket Scraps for Black Lion Claim Tickets. Nothing more or any dialogue text.

Additionally, none of them seem to have fused weapons.

There’s a skritt in the new BL building that showed me the Dragon’s Jade weapons when I talked to it with a Dragon’s Jade Claim Ticket in my inventory. I don’t have a Fused one to try, but I’d give it a shot, it’s the most likely option.

Gratz for 1200 gold .. or whatever o.O

Just last week we also had a new person in our guild that had such a ticket.
I think he took a bow and sold it for 1200g. Then he had even more luck with
crafting precursors from that money.

He didn’t wanted to wait maybe for 2 years to sell it, so he made a direct sale.

I also have no idea how often things fore prices like that are really sold.

I think quite often. I sold my Kraitkin for something like 1200g in 24 hours… And it is just an underwater weapon. (It was like a year ago)

They are basically the same thing. I think we can all agree on that.

I’ve actually just visited the guy again. Maybe there’s an asura offering the weapons, but the one I was talking about is actually really a skritt. “Collector Terksli” is its name.

What’s funny about this, is that I genuinely believed I’d mistaken an asura for a skritt, and didn’t find that surprising at all. Heh.
