First, every concept art in guild wars 2, are wonderfully designed but there are 2 which i believe, in my opinion, are the most beautifully designed concept arts i’ve seen in mmo’s.

Seriously,

Whoever team or person that or who designed them, deserves the most honorable highest reward.

So lets get started…

Finally i’m so excited to share my excitement with the community with what i think and believe are the long waited future class and profession we’ve all been eager waiting for…hopefully.

Yes, they have been upon us far too long, so let’s hope Arena.net will confirm this.

And yes, and again, i do know they are concept arts but i’m hoping they are more than that to what will soon come. I leave room for you guys (the community) to share your thoughts, mind and ideas about them.

Im pretty sure that first art concept is the sandwich maker farming some lettuce for his skills. You can’t make a decent sandwich without lettuce you know~

To me, this thread is just pure wish thinking

That style of art belongs to Kekai Kotaki, I believe the first picture is even by him. However he unfortunately left ANet shortly after launch. They are trying to carry on his style though.

However, the first piece of art is early concept art for a sylvari racial. And the second is early concept art for Faolain. So this really isn’t evidence of a new class.

The second picture is a Nightmare Court Sylvari with two Nightmare hounds.. That could in no way be a profession.
The first picture is a Sylvari interacting (awakening, reviving who knows because it’s concept art…) with an Oakheart.

Considering Sylvari have two racial skills, one which summons an Oakheart and one which summons a Fern hound, there isn’t really the possibility for a new profession to be created out of this.

Also in the development of a cancelled campaign for GW1 there was a summoner profession in the making (as well as a chronomancer), both ideas were scrapped when the campaign was scrapped.

Any future GW2 profession is likely to be a heavy armour profession, since both light and medium already have 3 and heavy only has 2.

As someone who’s been here since beta’s, you know this as much as I do. They’ve already classified the sandwichmancer as unbalancable due to the sheer might of Au jus dipped beef sandwiches.

When you use the roast beef skill, and follow it up with Au Jus utility you get the FRENCH DIP combo.

It’s way overpowered btw and total BS and Anet needs to balance it.

They can’t remove it either because what kind of a selfrespecting S.mancer wouldn’t have Au Jus.

New profession will be Gempurchaser and a new race of Cashshopians.
