Finally a pair of boots that don’t clip on asuran feet!
There are a handful of boots that already don’t clip, for each weight category. But gratz for getting one you like.

1200 gems so far and unless chest and pants (if offered at all) go for more (maybe 400?) we’ll end up with 1800 gems for a set instead of the current 800. Not bad.
Perhaps more on topic – how do they work on charr?
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
A race that can invent antigravity and instantaneous wormhole travel, can’t make shoes that fit their own feet…

I bought sets for 800 where i only wanted 1 item from. So thats 800 per piece .. for examle Brahams Chest and Aetherblade legs .. that was 1600 for only 2 pieces.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.

The side toes need a lot of airing out otherwise they get really sweaty and smelly.

I hear ya. Essentially I’ve done the same. Well, let’s say I would hope though that this is not the continuing trend but both formats will be offered. Alone because of the outlay of the shop itself (navigating).

Like Rouven I think a better way of doing it would be to have both options. If you want the full set you pay 800, if you only want 1 or 2 pieces you pay 300. Or however they wish to balance the costs. But only providing one option or the other is just going to annoy people. Plus it’s also kinda frustrating that they are time gating gem store armour sets now by not releasing the full set at once. I find it hard to believe they haven’t designed the full set already to make sure it all matches.
Anyway, glad you found boots that fit your character mrauls.
I always considered it part of the design, like Charr needing holes in the back of their pants for the tails…
Oh wait…

Ohhh, I get it! Tricky.

slightly off topic but although its more expensive i really do like that i can buy it piece by piece, aslong as the full set can still be purchased for the 800-1000 pice range

The side toes don’t even show up at all on T1 light boots. It’s actually faintly disturbing.
Or even on the Lawless boots, for that matter. Which is even more obnoxious, since they’re gem store items.
One of the very few armours that even acknowledges asura’s feet shapes is the aetherblade heavy.
Anet why do you make these races if you can’t even be bothered to design armour for them properly?

Frankly that makes more sense to me, I would believe that the Asura can design shoes that are bigger on the inside before I would believe they can’t design shoes that actually cover their whole foot.

Personally I’m of the opinion that the set overall so far, looks terrible on Charr.
The shoes aren’t the worst I’ve seen, but the back dewclaw juts out randomly through the back of the thick heel material, which looks plain silly. Still, it’s better than the dewclaw jutting through the heel itself, which is all too common.
I can see working the shoulders into a look perhaps, or maybe the gloves – I like the lower bit of the gloves. It’s the wrist and upper armguards that I wish didn’t exist.
For the toast!
