Guild Wars 2

I am not particularly looking to optimize, but those are the two professions I find the most fun at the moment, and I am looking to focus on one so I don’t have to do all the content twice.
Out of these two professions, which do you think is the most effective/fun in high level PvE content?

I guess it would be LB Guardian (DH). As a GS Mesmer you should keep your distance 900 range (stronger aa) or at least 600, which is not always possible in open world.
But in terms of fun i would say Mesmer

GS Mesmers work best in a group where they can keep that ultra long distance. I do love the GS for Mesmers though, and often use it for big boss fights. For up and personal I have my Sword/Sword or Sword/Shield.

Either, though I do appreciate the permanent 25% speed boost with the Chrono trait line. I run GS and Sword/Shield on mine.
