GUILD WARS 2 MAIN TOPIC
Well, Guild Wars can be a bit misleading, as the name refers to events in the game’s lore and history. It wasn’t named Guild Wars because the game specializes in GvG content.
I have no problem if they had a place where guilds could get together and compete or fight or whatever. WvW is the closest thing to it we have now.
I don’t know if they have plans to add true GvG content or not.
With the introduction of HoT, there are two things that encourage Guild vs Guild, even if there’s isn’t a specific Game Mode for it.
The first is that Guilds can now create PvP teams, so when they are queueing for PvP matches, they are ‘more likely’ to be put against another guild team. It’s quite a common occurrence nowadays too, with the introduction of PvP-Based guild missions.
The second option is the Guild Hall arenas. You can brawl and battle with your own guilds, or better yet – invite five members of another guild to your arena!
Another option is of course, custom made PvP arenas, though GvG is very rare through that since most custom PvP arenas seem to be based around Rank & Daily farming.
Hope this helps.
Guild halls have arenas where you can GvG up to a certain number, but that requires you to build one. Other than that Celtic is correct.
I found this game very addictive , I have no problems but, Since I coming from a RPMMO gaming like “Ragnarok” there was like “war of emporium” it was so dam fun..just missing that here.
Otherwise game is awesome exploring and I feel i have less time, I spend like 5 to 6 hrs on the game daily still I feel that I should have more.

PvP Stronghold mode is closest to WoE.
