Guild Wars 2

So I was going to buy gw 1 just for the hack of it since I got extra money from last month’s paychecks.
I decided to check on steam first. The price on steam is 29.99 for the trilogy and another 19.99 for eye of the north.
It seems a little unreasonable since the game is out for awhile now and gw2 is already out.
So, like any smart customers out there I checked the price on other websites. The first one I searched for on google is of course, gw 1 official.
Suprise suprise! 19.99 for the whole package platinum edition.

I am making this post because…..
FIrst, I think I made a smart move so I like to share it and rub it on others that brought gw 1 from steam.
Second, Wat Tha Faq ANET. Dont let Gabe Newell take advantage of you like that! E-mail him and demand your money back.
Want me to do it? I need commission tho.

Steam does 75% off sales. When I picked the game up, it was like 5£ in total?

Urgh, high-quality pictures incoming! Tip: pressing “print” on your keyboard (right next to the F12-Key) you can generate a screenshot. Just paste it in Paint or whatever program you prefer and save as a picture. If you press “alt” + “print” the screenshot is exclusively of your focused window (in this case the browser) and won’t include any clutter around it.

Edit: Also with your current camera we can see your room. You left the door open.

Steam is always more expensive than other sites.

There is literally no point of buying a game directly from Steam unless its on sale.

OP… playing in an all dark room is bad for your eyes. Turn a light on!

I brought the game and find out it only gives the first one and the eye of the north and not factions and nightfall

I should have brought the trilogy and eye of the north seperately instead.
Cry Cry.
This makes me feel like the first time Im buying insurance.

You were not tricked. Read what you are buying and what is included before making purchases.

I thought full gw games includs all three.

Unless the description specifically says so then no.

You’re also going the better route as the platinum edition is the same price as you would have paid for EotN and the bonuses are worth it for new players.

Well, now that you have Guild Wars 1, my advice to you is don’t be in a rush, enjoy the game.

At one of the stores in a mall near me the gw1 and all the expansions together are around -50$

I also checked the official Guild Wars store and Steam to compare prices. The full game will cost you $50 from both sites.

I don’t quite follow – why did he not just use the Print Screen function???

But it will most likely be cheaper to by the game in a box than a digital version because the stores would try to get rid of the games by now by making them very cheap

Enjoy Prophecies….it was/is my favorite of the campaigns. =)
