Just completed the Party Politics part of Dragon’s Reach Part 2 again and nearly fell asleep. I really hope the new episode isn’t this dialogue-heavy.

They could cut out about 80 percent of the dialogue in every conversation in this game between an NPC and you would still get the info you needed.

What may seem like boring dialogue to some is seen as interesting storytelling for others.

Just putting that out there.

IMHO, this mission, along with the ‘avoid the guards’ mission with Demmi Beetlestone stand out to me as being refreshing breaks from the typical ‘chop people in half for laughs’ ones. I guess it gves a bit more flavour and insight into the motivations of the characters in the world?

Although they really could stand to place more Skip buttons on cutscenes. Lol.

I liked Party Politics the first time. Lots of interesting stuff going on. The second time through, I learned a few things that I missed earlier.

But after that, I’d rather just read the wiki than have to sit through it again and again.

That’s why most games include a skip option.
I’m already being forced out of my preferred game mode to unlock reward tracks, do I really have to sit through half an hour of dialogue for every 5 minutes of action on top of it?

Yup, personally I really enjoyed the stories and sucked in every bit of information I could get in forms of dialogue, text and exploring. Kudos to all voice actors on the team, keep up the good work!

But after completing everything and returning to just do achievements or whatever, it’d be really, really nice to be able to speed things up and press F to skip, instead of the frustrating blabbering you don’t even pay attention to.

Anet, add skip dialogue button please.
