Pretty much all of them though I’d pick the Kurzick armor as my favorite set just for it’s Gothic architecture aesthetic. GW1 had amazing armor and weapon designers. Too bad they were limited by technology.

Gw2 team, well, let’s just say they’re hit and miss on a good day…

I miss my elite gladiator armour, though when I got it it didn’t have a helm :S. Main reason I’m missing out on a couple HoM points is because I don’t have a single ‘full set’ of elite armour.

But other than that, I don’t know…I think GW1 and GW2 deserve some diversity still. I would like to see Luxon and Kurzick themed sets again, not just redesigned from the previous game.

Also, I want head honcho NPCs to have their own sets of unique armor. Usually it drives me nuts in some games, but a special kind of nuts – it makes me feel better that the head honchos are all vastly superior to me, the player character, and they are visually representing of their above-the-rest status.

Do not bring the eyesore which was Primeval armor back. Not even as a joke.

I would LOVE to see any GW1 armor back in GW2, I loved them all more or less!!

I was going to post that… I just want to wear that armor on my Asura to go take a stroll on the Black Citadel..

I don’t really think there are many complete gw1 sets I’d like to see, probably because I was very much into mixing and matching (spent well over 100k on monk armor before i got just the right mix for my “mint monk” for example).

Although, I suppose I could list the sets that I used components from that I liked. It’d probably be best if they added they whole ‘set’ rather than just the pieces I liked, as others will likely like other parts, if not the whole thing.

tho… i made charr thief cuz it’s really disgusting that all male human medium armors are coats… such variety… at least charrs have a(one!!!!1!!!) chest piece that is not a coat, so it can look like an assassin, not kitten hobbit burglar

I think none of them cost gems. I clicked on a lot of them and it seems they can all be crafted by certain NPC’s.

All of them, especially the Mesmer and Paragon armors. I also want the female armors to keep the high heels instead of having the pointlessly removed like on the Heritage set.

All of these were a part of GW1, in game and available to craft from the associated NPCs.

There are lots of sets from GW1 I would like to see. I would rather we get sets for activities in GW2 that don’t have them yet like a Fractal Armor Set before they go adding stuff to the gem shop from GW1.

They had costumes in their store that you could wear over armor but every piece of armor in game was either given to you at start or craftable. You had to get the mats and give them to an NPC to craft.

I’d go and list a long long list, but hell, I’d love to see them all return. Preferably via in-game means.

I would kill a Quaggan to have the Aegis of Unity back. Dyeable. Had a lovely pattern in the cloth part.

I’d love to see the Elite Ascalon one, but considering that it’s helmet is a decapitated Charr head, it’s highly unlikely :P.

Any of the light armors with pants that have no robe top. Oh…what I would do for a proper pair of pants for my mesmer. Actually, for my thief too. So many medium armor pants have something covering the butt.

If GW1 didn’t charge gems for these armors, how were they able to stay successful for so long? Whereas after 2 years of GW2, everything is going downhill?

I would like to see ALL of the GW1 armours in GW2. They were easily the best looking armours, especially IMO the ranger armours, specifically the ranger FOW armour …….. I miss that.

I’m going to give a vote for Platemail and Elite Templar as well. Heavy needs more shining, “knightly” armors. My warrior wore Elite Templar in GW1 and she looked really cool in it.

I think heritage is inspired by those full metal armors but not completely. I think I recognize the top of Elite Templar, but the bottom and other pieces seem to come from another sets.
