There was a CDI about difficult content/raid content, so there is a chance we’ll see similar things with HoT.
Some people have speculated that we might be seeing Fissure of Woe in HoT, considering there’s a Balthazar temple buried deep within Maguuma along with other “cues” such as the Balthazar Outfit and Balthazar Weapon Skins which are both now available in GW1 and GW2.
On the other hand, the game is balanced for parties of 5. I don’t know if creating a dungon for more than 5 people is possible, unless the parties are kept separate for the majority of the mission (I think there was a couple of missions in GW1 Cantha which required two parties simultaneously).
I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I like to expect what we already know, and then get pleasantly surprised when I find out there’s more. That way I rarely get disappointed

Be a perfect chance to bring instanced events with more than just 5 people, which i was hoping for pvp when they mentioned stronghold was inspired by fort aspenwood Gw1 pvp .-. Tho that is limited to 5….
Actually they already have a tool in game for raid frames (see spvp team frames) so i dont see why “more than 5 people is impossible”. The thing is that their general game design idea evolves around casual open world content (everyone can join in/out at any time) which in return leaves no room for “hardcore” or “hard” content. If you make open world encounters too hard people will leave, also open world content heavily promotes leeching.
IMO they need to shift their focus towards instanced challenging content where people will play together with friends (if they choose so) or pugs (if they choose so). Current encounters like Tequatl and Triple Trouble leave no choice – you are stuck with pugs/afkers/leechers no matter what.

Well I don’t want the exact same thing but still after 3 years and the only elite dungeon is fractals is getting very boring. There needs to be more end game content and I think drawing upon their previous ideas is a good place to start
