Guild Wars 2

This is no complaint post, just a reminder to ANET we are waiting for GW1 items/emotes to be brought back, which could make this game only so much more valuable.

To start off with items:
- Storm Bow
- Draconic Aegis
- Silverwing Bow
- Obsidian Edge
- Emerald Blade
- Bone Dragon Staff
- Mursaat Hammer
- Urgoz Longbow
- Runic Blade (not the flashy stickery infinite light)
- Dead Sword
- Dragon Kamas
- Celestial Compass
- Eternal Blade
- Wingcrest Maul
- Vera (tetsubo)
- Colossal Scimitar

Weapon Set:
- Envoy, in some elite HoTM related content.

Weapon Type:
- Ofcourse, the scythe and spear, and by spear I do not mean underwater.

Special Item:
- Guild Capes, we need them. For once and for all. Everything already has clipping issues so that’s no excuse anymore.

Emotes, (There’s alot of these that we’re missing, but most important):
- /violin
- /drum
- /guitar
- /flute
^^^^^^^^^^^NOT GEMSTORE RELATED^^^^^^^^^^
- /zaishen
- /guild (envoy)
- /beg
- /doubletake
- /rock-paper-scissors

And in general, but I have my hopes up for future content, in some way to be added:
- Dervish
- Paragon

^Yes I am aware the paragon is mixed into guardian, but a man can always dream. /beg

And last of all, special ability:
-DYEABLE WEAPONS… srsly, this sort of stuff takes ppl back to this game you know..

Let me know if there’s any items I’ve missed, or must-have emotes from GW1, but as far as I can think of I have listed most of it.

I do not want to be negative but I doubt we will see any of it unless it is in the Gem Store. As for animations seem to be something Arena Net are unwilling to work on, the fact they have not returned the female idle animation speaks volumes.

I read the list and promptly flashed back to the hot pink Oppressor recurve bow I carried as a primary weapon on my ranger.

I forgot /roar, and /goteam.. excuses my lads, those are certainly a must! (not to forget, /highfive)

plus armours! GW1 had some awesome (and sexy) armours

also bring back Fort Aspenwood!

I’m hoping that they will eventually bring back the Ritualist ancient armor (perhaps a halloween skin- obtained through the game and not just the gem store?)

I should have read your thread…I just posted something similar before seeing yours. Completely agree…I would love to have my old Storm Bow back!!!

The /roll # chat command (not really an emote) would be useful while doing guild sweepstakes, i.e. /roll 15 becomes [Character] rolls (#) on a (15) sided die.

Stormbow and Draconic Aegis…

I’m a llittle choked up right now…missing my 2 favorite weapons from GW1…:(

I made a post about a year ago suggesting a way(obviously open to change of course, whatever the devs would need to do to make it work) to make a Stormbow using graphic elements that already exist in the game.

Ah, yeah. One of the many “bring back skin/feature x from GW1” thread.

Sadly we have these since release and it doesn´t seem to matter much, aside from very few weaponskins that have been released, or some in name only in the gemstore.

We did get Chaos Skins(BL Ticket items)…so that’s at least “something”…I do enjoy having my Chaos Axe back again…:)

But…Stormbow…sniff

I consider it a missed opportunity that the Mordrem Spitfires do not have the chance to drop a Totem Axe in Heart of Thorns.

or even a Mordrem-touched Totem Axe.

It was an iconic skin for many GW1 players and this would’ve been one of the best possible way to implement it! ^^

You’re very right about the totem axe, I remember the good old 5platinum I kept spending for it :>..

I wouldn’t mind seeing a return of the GW1 Aureate Longbow skin. There is an Aureate Longbow skin in GW2 but it’s ugly as sin and nothing like the GW1 version.

stuff like the Zaishen Challenges.
the ability to save build templates.
Weapon dye options (not just armor)
the ability to mix dyes together to create a different hue.
how story mode felt more personal.
the Butterfly Mirror as a focus. I love that thing.

Without logging in to my GW1 account, I can recall the following items I want in GW2 and see no reason I can’t have it except for :anet:.

Chibbi Gwen Doll.

That’s it. The rest I clearly don’t care about or I would remember it.
Maybe it would be nice to get my GW1 faces in GW2 but those guys are dead, 200 years dead, so that would be weird. But my gwen doll would be an antique.
