GW1 main & your GW2 main
Guild wars 1: Ranger
Guild wars 2: Mesmer since headstart
GW1: Ele and Rit, rit was definately my most played and favorite style but got obsidian for my ele since he was my first character and have a thing for ice magic.
GW2:Ele and….. Ele is fun and I’ve have a good idea on how to play them, even staff ele in pvp for 1v1 if needed. But, I just can’t seem to enjoy it enough so I’m still looking to fill the void but there’s no ritualist… I is sad as a clown. Been playing thief and mesmer but thief has like 1 good build and mesmer is butterflies and overcrowded in pvp making me feel like a jerk for playing one.
I shall find my main one day. Once they add a dark spell caster that isn’t all bloody…..
GW1:
Assassin: Speed Clears
Monk: PvP
Ritualist: PvE, Title Hunter
GW2:
Guardian: Main, PvE
WvW:
Thief: When I want a relaxed easy session
D/D Bunker ele: More intense play
Necromancer: Team orientated, lots DPS
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
GW1 – my main was a warrior called Godrik Gandolfi.
In GW2 I decided he’s still around, rocking the bearded white-haired ancient warrior look. Kormir owed him a few favours after all.
I have two main characters now, my human warrior has been joined by a norn guardian. I’ve levelled eight characters to 80, one of each profession, but these two see the most action at the moment.
The Path Least Travelled, Gunnar’s Hold
GW1: Dervish….god I miss my Dervish. But going back to play her I miss jumping!
GW2: No main really, but I switch between Warrior, Guardian, Mesmer, Elementalist and Necromancer. I have an engineer at 80 but don’t play him much….and haven’t been able to get my Thief past lvl 20 yet…..just so fragile to me.
GW1: I had mesmer, monk, assassin, warrior and elementalist. From most played to least played: Ele > Warrior > Assassin > Monk > Mesmer.
GW2: Guardian (but I’ve tried other classes in sPvP)
I’ve tried to play other classes in GW2 but they don’t seem too appealing. The builds available in GW2 is too simple compared to the ones in GW1. It was actually fun leveling up my other toons in GW1 and testing different builds which kept me going/leveling.
GW1 – Warrior Tank
GW2 – Guardian for now
GW1: Mesmer, although my Monk and Assassin are A LOT more spoiled then my Mesmer. They both have Chaos Gloves and the Assassin has Obsidian Armor while my Mesmer has…. Primeval (LOL)
GW2: Mesmer, I’m not gonna make the same mistake now! I will “spoil” him and give him most of the goodies!
I’m usually typing on my phone
Gw1 Tank/ele
Gw2 Ranger

Call me paranoid, but I feel that while sharing info about professions and gear and even back story is cool, I don’t think it’s a good idea to reveal the names of your GW characters, as that’s one of the things needed to access GW accounts.
Ahouye Tatsue – omg paranoia =)
Good luck breaking my 40 character password.
Delayed content is eventually good. Rushed content is eternally bad. ~ Shigeru Miyamoto
GW1: Started as an Ele until Dervish hit, then Derivsh forever.
GW2: Started as Warrior, but Guardian has taken over.
GW1: Ranger and Assassin, I retired the Ranger when factions came out.
GW2: Guardian, but I also have a Thief that I’m trying to enjoy. Assassin feels so much more fun to play than Thief currently.
Windows 10
GW1: Ele with Sin 2nd.
GW2: ele right now, but Thief taking a close 2nd.
GW1: monk sin derv war, sin and monk being most played.
GW2: Thief.. wish it were more like sin.
GW1:
PvP: elementalist, was 100x awesomer than gw2 ele imho
PvE: ranger, but always ended up playing R/D or R/A cause “pure ranger” dps was crappy. Because of this, I chose:
GW2: warrior, I don’t regret it, by the looks of it it’s the only class in GW2 that I’d enjoy anyway
GW1: PvE- Thief (critical scythe assassin), PvP- Ele
GW2: PvE-Warrior (main), Guardian (main alt, esp in dungeons); WvW: Thief (love that venom-share), Mesmer.
“A release is 7 days or less away or has just happened within the last 7 days…
These are the only two states you’ll find the world of Tyria.”
GW1: Necro, MM in the good olden days when raising a massive army of bone fiends was still possible, various builds later on.
GW2: Necro, human. Bit disappointed with the way minions work in here, but I still love the theme and feel of the profession. Mainly do conditions or some form of wellmancer build here.
GW1 = ele
GW2 = human ele
Slight variation in the name, but they could be brothers, even have the same hair style.
My main is a mesmer in both games. That said, I play alts a lot more in GW2
Never played GW1, so I wonder what my main would have been, given that I main an Engineer in GW2.
For the toast!
