I’ve strayed to other games but I always find myself coming back to Guildwars 2. Before GW2 it was the first Guildwars game I would find myself coming back to.

I particularly love how easy it was to get into playing music in the game too. I feel the pull of the desire to drive in wvw again. I’ve never had the experience in any other game that I get in Guildwars. Kudos for a good game.

I played Guild Wars before WoW and really enjoyed it. A couple friends tried it but didn’t stick with it. I really enjoyed the world, the story, the art and the gameplay of the first game and I greatly anticipated Guild Wars 2. Sometimes I’m really into it and other times I’m very casual. It’s nice that I can walk away for a while and not worry that my subscription will expire. To this day, I don’t know anybody in real life who plays GW2 but I still really like the game and the community (and threads like these).

I’ve played guild wars 2 since its release in 2012, and it is still my favorite mmorpg. Even though I play it off and on for over 3 years, I still have lots of respect towards the game and it’s developers, and I’m still impressed with it to this day.

Gw2 is amazing simply because it’s one of a kind. It’s the only mmorpg that I’ve played that actually attempted to create a unique mmo experience that cannot be found in any other game. Most mmorpg’s are all copies of each other with maybe one or two unique features. ANet really did a good job at giving us a game that really feels like no other on the market.

Things that I love about Gw2:
-Originality
-Extensive lore
-Beautiful, artistic graphics
-Unique and interesting classes/races
-Any race can be any class and gender
-No strict “holy trinity”
-Impressive and frequent content updates
-Smooth combat and great PvP
-Massive, well-designed zones
-Freedom while leveling (nearly everything gives you good xp)

And last but not least, the game gets rid of all the stupid and restricting features from other games. Things like stealing monster kill and gathering nodes, rng enchanting ad upgrade systems, a class-determined dungeon/raid roles don’t exist in this game. This alone is a good reason to play this awesome game.

I’m having both fun and frustration ( spvp player :p ).
Things that i love about gw2:

-Thief ( don’t mid which build or if you suck or out of meta. i like to pay for every single mystake )
-Gliding
-Verdant Brink ( i love all the new areas but dear devs, with VB you did a freaking great job. Love the map. Not the farming, The map! )
-Trahearne is dead ( i was waiting him to die from 3 years. finally the worst character is gone ).
-HOPE
-Ranked Arena rework ( it’s still fresh and still there’re tons of things to fix and do, but still here we are )
-Filler MMO ( you can drop and get back whenever you want and you don’t have to farm for equipment or other things ) which allows me to play other games or continue playing it if i have only an hour to spend.
