Hello,

Recently i tlaked with some friends regarding the game and they are willing to try it.
i am supposed to buy the game for them but I am unsure about the way I should proceed.

From what I know you will launch this HoT expansion sometime “soon”. If I purchase just the expansion for them, will they be able to play the game? Or first I need to buy the original game , and HoT afterwards ?

I read the FAQ but it made me confused. It said that in order to play the expansion I need the original game, but the expansion has the original game….

Sorry if my question seems stupid.

Thank you for your time.

You can only buy HoT now and it comes with the original game thrown in, so they will be able to play immediately as soon as you buy it.

Jumping puzzles, love them or hate them, I hate them. Thread killer.

Their plan seems to be to roll the “base game” with all the expansions. So there really is no base game after HoT, only HoT, then with the next expansion there will be no base or HoT, only [Title TBD].

Cantha Invasion? Or would that really kitten off ANet’s business partners?
