Okay, I bought the digital deluxe back when GW2 first came out. Recently they added the “legacy” armor to it as well, alongside what looks like a bag.

The question I have is, for people who already HAD the deluxe version, do we get that as well? Or not?

I was wondering this too, when it first happened (I got the CE).
But the armor skin you get is the armor skin that has been in gemstore since launch, which you can easily buy if you like it.
Things like this will happen, they want to sell more, make more money and to do so sometimes they need a new promotion for that to happen. The game have already been on sale more than once too.

When I thought they got something completely uniquie and special I was upset, but once I realised it was just a gemstore skin I didn’t really care anymore.

So the answer is as Galtrix said. No. But don’t feel you miss out on something cause you are not really

Oh, I was just curious. My characters have decent sized bags and being honest, none of those three armors fit my characters. I was just curious if Id get it or should look up something. Something to entice new players eh? Unlike some people I know of, I’m not going to throw a fit over it.

Yes, shockingly enough, I’ve seen people throw massive fits over something like that and scream they’d not buy stuff again from that game/company. :P

They added 3 extra items:

XP boosters – These are the same as you can buy in the gem store, or get from Black Lion chests (and possibly achievement chests?).

18 slot mithril box – These can be made by armorsmiths, or bought from the TP for a few gold. They’re standard 18 slot bags with no special features.

Suit of Legacy Armor – This is the confusing one. When it was first announced a lot of people thought this was the Heritage Armor which GW1 players get from the Hall of Monuments. Partially because the first announcement to be spread online was in German, and it wasn’t clear how the name would be translated, it could have been either Legacy or Heritage or a number of other things such as Ancestral. Plus I’m not sure these 3 sets ever had a group name before.

But what it actually gives is your choice of the 3 GW1 armor skins that have been in the gem store since launch – the Primeval, Krytan or Profane skins. You only get 1 set – for your first character.

Like the other two items existing players can buy it, and have been able to do so since the game launched.

Another question, did they change the golem banker? Before it was good for 5 days but now they are saying “reusable.”

edit: Or is it still the 5 days, it just means “reusable for 5 days”

They did change the Golem Banker to two weeks. Even if you have the banker from the original DDE or CE. It’s very nice.
