Guild Wars 2

Been on for a few hours crafting, until the BLTC stopped allowing me to buy things. Tried relogging and now it wont let me log in.

Anybody else having this? theres no notices about downtime or other threads, and iv never had unexplained crashes before…..?

Same…. why me; was crafting a bit then decided to get back to a dungeon area. On the moment of going to waypoint crashed and logged out. Unable to get back in.

got kicked while joining the mists 1 min ago. Got a few log in errors but I’m in now

Yes – I had the same experience, AH stopped working then can’t log.

if you’re going to lose motivation over a tiny rollback (and it rarely happens), then it probably isn’t a game for you

\He is right..a rollback should not happen…it’s frustrating when you just did a dungeon got a nice item,and now it’s gone.Can’t you relate to that ?

ex,spending 2 hours in orr,got the last of the needed amount of tokens to get your item,you bought the item..Crash.Login again,bye tokens,bye item.Do orr again…this is fun ?

I had just finished doing Arah path 1 when the servers went down. Got my 60 tokens ~50 silver & one exotic from the last reward chest – and lost ‘em all. If that’s not enough reason to lose motivation to play, then what is? I bet some people might even have gotten precursors before the rollback. Just imagine how they might feel.

Yepp rollback, i did fractals daily, got an exotic shield and globs, and then it was all gone….

Some company called ArenaNet made a nice game that to date has had 2 (or was it just one) rollbacks in a period spanning more than 7 years – THAT qualifies as “rarely”…
Has that company made any new games lately?

Whoa, so I’m not crazy, and this actually happens? I swear, one night I was doing some cooking, and learned how to make mashed yams or something. The next morning, I logged in and didn’t have any mashed yams, and indeed I had to re-learn all the recipes I’d previously discovered the night before. I thought I had taken the overnight bus to Crazytown.

Why do they have to do “rollbacks”? What does that serve, aside from frustrating that poor guy who lost the exotic gear?

Rollbacks happened yes. The team is looking into this issue so it wont happen again.
