Is there any chance too play this fantastic game also on next gen consoles (xbo, ps4)? it would be great…

Probably not, at least in the near future. ANet has not announced any plans for console versions.

I’d be happy with an official controller support for PC.

There was some talk about releasing it on consoles early on, but I haven’t heard it mentioned in over a year so I assume the idea got dropped. If it did happen some things (chat for example) would have to be handled quite differently so it would probably require separate servers.

Depending on how far your computer is from your TV you could rig up something similar however. There are 3rd party programs that let you play the game on a controller and most modern TVs can be used as PC monitors.

What a pity! this game is fantastic and on consoles i think it’d be a great success, oh well i hope it wont remain only a dream, please Anet let everyone enjoy this masterpiece!

Porting an MMO is a pretty complicated business. It’s definitely possible, but it would take quite a while to get a quality port, and they would need console-experienced devs as well. My best guess is that the majority of A-net’s staff is PC-centric.
