This has been promised by anet like last year. How come it hasn’t ever come yet?

sigh … another one.

This has been brought up in so many threads and so often I believe it needs it’s own sub-forum. It’s a project that’s been shelved almost as often as it’s been mentioned.

I personally was looking forward to it as I couldn’t find a reasonable way that was legitimate (ie. not buying one), but as luck would have it, I did manage to land the pre I wanted in the toilet (I should call it forge now since it gave me something I wanted). I don’t have any other plans on making legendaries as they require a legendary amount of effort, resources and time invested.

If it happens, it’ll happen. If you want a reasonable answer on this you should hope for one from Linsey.

u mean precursors crafting?

They haven’t figured out a way to implement it that hasn’t been scraped and started over from scratch, it’s currently on it’s fourth implementation because the other three despite being clearly super dooper thought out…don’t fit the game.

Precursor = Came before

I honestly wouldn’t want the ability to craft a precursor just to make a legendary.

I’d go for a “Precursor Journey” that would start after a character finished their Personal Story. I’d even make it where each character can only search for one precursor. It would give more incentive to finishing the PS on alts in order to find the other precursors.
