Just a heads up… I’m testing Windows 10 for business reasons, and tried GW2 on it.
Microsoft bragged that Win 10 is “50% faster” during their big reveal a couple days ago.
It’s not. I fact, on a laptop that got 30-40 fps under Win 8.1, GW2 “runs” at less than a frame per second under Win 10.
This is a tech preview, and early beta, so don’t read too much into this. Everything else runs just ducky. And we’re a long way from a Win 10 release.
But if you want to test out Win 10, don’t expect to be playing GW2 on your test system right now.
Playing games on preview versions is usually never a good idea, considering that gaming compatibility is probably not a very high focus that “early” in development.
