Guild Wars 2

I remember the huge debate around the time when Anet revealed that they would have an official forum of their own for GW2. the GW2Guru community erupted.

But a year later, how do you like the decision now?

Which forum do you enjoy the most and why?

Haven’t been to Guildwars 2 guru since this one opened up

Been back probably less than 8 times total in the last 10 months.

Actually prefer this one now even though there are threads recently that echo tones from other games.

I know some posters feel this one is over moderated. I think the mods have a done a good job of weeding out inflammatory / troll posts. And the occasional dev sighting here is a good thing.

Do the devs even still visit Guru? (Just curious, there’s no comment intended there.)

I’ve been back to GW2Guru maybe twice? I like this forum all right. Mostly because of the Dev interaction, and the information I can get here.

Well, hound, as I understood the thread, we are comparing the two forums. Not sure there is more interaction over on GW2Guru, but like I said, I haven’t been back much. There are, on the other hand, 332 pages of Dev posts here….

I disliked guru immensely. I only dislike this forum moderately. lol

I visit there once in a while, you can discuss more openly without your topic being removed or being infracted.

Haha, I feel the same way.

I got to guru regularly for their dev tracker, which is a lot more useful than the dev post forum here.

I used to go to Guru before the game launched- but I could never register since the capcha always thought I was a robot.
Haven’t been back since this one opened
