I have approximately 200G, and I need a precursor.
Should I buy roughly 400 Greatswords and gamble ~100+ times, or grind additional 400G to buy the precursor from the TP?

I don’t know, it seems kinda unfair, some get it throwing in 4 random golds while some spend hundreds of gold and get nothing.

This dead horse has been very thoroughly beaten already. It is also known that precursor crafting is coming, it is just a question of this year or next. You could wait another 3 weeks or so to see if it will be in the Dec 10 patch. If it is not in that one then probably not this year.

Could take another year for all we know. Arena Net promised us Precursor Hunt back in January.

I’d work on everything but the precusor, because all that will take time. You’ll still need mystic clovers, and T6 mats and whatever else you’d need for each weapon. The precusor is only one part of it.

If you work on the other stuff first, by the time the alternate method to get them comes out, the price should come down.

The only thing legendary about legendary weapons is the amount of money or grind they need to be completed.

200g is just not enough anyway. Play the game, I would avoid the mystical toilet. You might just get nothing at all. Setting your hope in RNG might cause you to finally quit the game otherwise.

Good luck on your journey.
