I have a few suggestions for Guild maintenance that would make my life a lot easier managing a large guild and probably other people as well.

1. Note field to add notes for only officers to see. We keep a forum thread for usernames of players in the guild that have a warning or may be a potential problem, but it would be so handy if this was just a right-click in the guild panel window to add a note! It would also be easier to see this all of the time versus having to go back to the forum for the list of names.
When playing Star Wars The Old Republic, they had note fields for officers to see. Was a great idea!

2. A date of last repped column in Roster. Being always maxed out on guild population, we do our duty of cleaning out people who have not logged into the game in xxx number of weeks, but we still have MANY people who never rep or participate in the guild that are taking up space in the roster. I don’t want them around if they don’t bother participating at all.
I tried to keep a list once of everyone I saw rep so I could figure it out myself and almost pulled my hair out.

3. A way to block a player from returning to a guild. We are fairly trust worthy of our players and let them invite their friends and such, something we do not wish to change. Unfortunately, it has caused confusion sometimes when we kick someone from the guild who was inappropriate or abusive and they sneak back in. I would love to block these people from coming back, and be able to remove if necessary.
Just like our friends lists!

Thank you for your time!

4. Mass Communication to guild members made easier. It would also be nice to be able to send out a mass guild whisper (to people not repping as well) or a mass ingame mail to guild members. People do not always pay attention to guild chat, especially if there is a lot of conversation in it. Trying to wrangle everyone for guild missions can be tiresome.

this totally needs to happen, been talking to my guild leader about this too. one final change is that there needs to be seperate permissions for adding people and kicking people, we want people to be able to invite new people but not everyone should be able to kick

Oh, definitely that! There is no “Veteran Member” without allowing them to kick players below them.

Posts like this make me happy that I’m a solo player. But from the perspective of someone in a guild, this would be pretty useful, I assume. So bumping.

For the love of the high damage, high mobility, glass cannon. Thief to the bitter end.

5. Vote system for guild leaders to kick/promote other guild leaders. This is for those guilds with multiple leaders and would be, hopefully, just another layer of security for them since guild halls are so kitten expensive. >.< Add an effect similar to bank stashes: 7 days until a newly promoted guild leader gains this protection or is able to vote.

6. Make it possible to track who has donated mats without digging through the history block. I’ve been promoting and sending thank yous to anyone who’s contributed. This would make it more convenient to do so.
